The ME110 safety edge is a low-profile, uni-directional monitored safety device that reverses direction of the operator immediately upon compression of the edge when the operator is closing the door. A monitored safety edge allows the operator to detect failure or wiring problems and will trigger the safety mode. The safety edge connects to the 8K2 terminal on the motor carriage circuit board--no need for coil cords or take-up reels.
